I had the opportunity to study abroad in Greece to study the Mediterranean diet. This specific diet focuses on whole grains, healthy fats and plenty of fruits and veggies. This dip is a staple in the Mediterranean diet. It can be used to dip raw veggies in or to be a spread on sandwiches and wraps. It is a fresh alternative to ranch dip or mayonnaise to decrease fat and added sugars.
Recipe:
- 2 Cups Non-fat Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 Cucumber Diced
- 2 Tbsp Fresh Dill
- 1 or 2 Garlic Cloves Smashed and Minced
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
Add all ingredients together and mix
